Rich

Rich is a powerful Pokemon Trainer who travels alongside Artie in Pokemon: Red Star. He is the first Trainer to introduce Shadow Pokemon.

The list of Rich's Pokemon go as follows:

PIkachu (Shadow Form)	Pikachu is the first Pokemon Rich has shown in the series, and most likely, his first in receiving. Pikachu, although, quite unbeknowest to Machine and the others, is the first Shadow Pokemon to be shown in the series. It was able to heal itself and attack at alarming speed and rate, suggesting that it may have different abilities than a normal Pikachu.
Flareon (Shadow Form)	Flareon is the second Pokemon Rich has shown in the series, and the second Shadow Pokemon shown in the story. Flareon is extremely powerful as it was able to defeat a Team Rocket grunt in one attack.
Gastly	Gastly is Rich's third Pokemon that grew stronger during the four week training regiment he had with Kusa Tenpi. Despite wanting it grow stronger, he did not allow it to evolve into a Haunter or Gengar.
Haunter	Haunter is Rich's fourth Pokemon that he made grow stronger during the four week training regiment he had with Kusa. Just like Gastly, he didn't allow his Haunter to evolve into a Gengar.
Gastly->Haunter->Gengar	Gengar is Rich's fifth Pokemon that he made grow stronger during his four week training regiment he had with Kusa at Cerulean Cave. Unlike his Gastly and Haunter, Gengar was originally Rich's first caught Pokemon at the Pokemon Tower in Lavender caught as a Gastly. He allowed it to evolve into its final form making it strongest Pokemon in his team.
Umbreon	Umbreon is the newest addition to Rich's team and it turned out to be a Shiny version of it. Apparently, while traveling through some of the other regions as he worked with Professor Pine, he obtained a Umbreon. Despite having one, it is unknown if he had caught his Umbreon as is or if he had to evolve it from an Eevee.
