Wallace is the first Pokemon Champion of Hoenn, however, lost that title when Steven defeated him. Wallace, however, still represents Hoenn as the eighth Gym Leader in Sootopolis City and is a part of the Pokemon League Committee alongside Steven Stone and Cynthia.
